We are looking for a fulltime SCCM Engineer to join our IT department in Amsterdam.

We are currently looking for a SCCM Engineer to join our Amsterdam office.

The Position:

You will work independently within the IT team consisting of a Senior IT Manager, Senior IT Specialist, IT Specialist, and an IT administrator. The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for providing design, deploying, configuring and supporting desktop technologies in a distributed environment. The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for software distribution and patch management as well as building and deploying software packages to workstations and laptops. As we are an international office, you will also be responsible for the maintenance current applications and making new applications.

The architectural world is dynamic and complex, and it will demand a lot from you. 

Job profile:

Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager administrator:

  • Create and manage global software distribution of packaged software applications
  • Monitoring SCCM client health and resolving issues related to application delivery, application installation, etc.
  • Create programmes and scripts that automate manual troubleshooting and repair processes
  • Create and maintain SCCM collections, advertisements, queries and inventories
  • Troubleshoot and remediate issues related to OS, application deployments and client health together with local IT staff
  • Setting up, testing and implementing proof-of-concepts for new applications
  • Work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Responsible for writing and maintaining procedural and design documentation
  • Manage monthly patch cycles via SCCM

Requirements

  • Bachelor/master level IT
  • Work experience at least 6 years in a profit organization with knowledge and experience on the following soft- and hardware: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Autodesk and Adobe products. (It will be good to have some experience with these kind of applications)
  • Excellent VB and PowerShell scripting skills (PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit and UI++)
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Thorough understanding of Active Directory; including replication, GPO and DNS.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English language
  • Be located in The Netherlands
  • Independent, pro-active, assertive.
