Design Architect - Dubai
As an international architectural firm, UNStudio is active in the broadest fields of architecture. Our project portfolio covers every aspect of architecture, ranging from small- to large-scale projects, research and theory. We are currently looking for a Design Architect to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate should have strong design sensibilities, technical skills, a flexible mentality, and experience managing all stages of a project, from concept through to construction.
The Position:
You will be focusing on various aspects of architectural design, ranging from research and theory, to a spectrum of programmatic scales and typologies (See our Projects page). This position will require you to continue growing your current responsibly level while helping train and mentor junior staff. Becoming a self-guided professional that never stops learning and continues teaching others is key for the culture of the office.
The Requirements:
Master’s degree or equivalent in Architecture
At least 3 years of experience
Experience as a Design Architect or as an Architectural Intern within a dynamic, international environment
Knowledge of 3D Modelling in Rhinoceros plus Grasshopper
Familiar with all phases of design and construction
Experience with Revit software is a plus
Knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCAD
Knowledge of rendering software such as Enscape and V-ray
Fluent in English (presenting, speaking, reading, writing)
Highly motivated, self-guided, and research driven
